If you've been playing Fortnite on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 or Galaxy Tab S7+, you're in luck. Today Epic Games and Samsung revealed that they'd soon unlock the ability to ramp up gameplay for the latest Samsung tablets in the game Fortnite with the latest update for said game. This latest update for the game Fortnite unlocked 90fps (frames per second, image refresh rate) for the display of the tablet, allowing users to experience more smooth and eye-friendly gameplay than ever available on this hardware before.

Fortnite and Samsung have partnered together to make Galaxy devices the best mobile platform for Fornite, with exclusive skins for Samsung users. If you are having difficulty with the functionality of the Fortnite app or in-game play, Epic Games have created some FAQs for Android users.
Samsung is also touting their current status as 'the only mobile app store in the U.S. where users can download and enjoy the current season of Fortnite.' That's largely because Epic Games is currently having a bit of a tiff with Apple and haven't ever really gotten to a point where it's made sense to launch on the Google Play app store.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ both have the ability to run apps at 90fps- this is just the first time the frame rate has been available for Fornite specifically. The only way this combination of elements works is if the user downloads the game Fortnite from the Samsung Galaxy Store (or in the Galaxy Game Launcher app) UPDATE: OR straight from Epic Games.
This update was released on October 13, 2020, in plenty of time for all the Halloween goodness that'll arrive throughout the rest of the month in Fortnite. Once the latest update for Fortnite is loaded on a Galaxy S7 or S7+, 90fps gameplay will be enabled by default.
While no other Halloween bonuses for Samsung devices have yet been revealed, it's entirely possible more are on the way. Epic Games has teamed up with Samsung for more than one Fortnite bonus in the past, and it would not be a shock to see additional bits by the end of this season.
Story Timeline
Battleground multiplayer games have seen a steep rise in popularity, thanks to games like PUBG and Fortnite. Not only in consoles, but with the advancement of tech in smartphones, we can see several smartphones being developed around such games.
While coming to Android, Epic Games Fortnite took a different path for where Android users were required to grab a downloadable APK of the game for manual installation, instead of downloading the game directly from the Google Play Store.
This was not the case for the iPhone users, because of the fact that Apple operating system does not allow third-party app installation. So, Fortnite was easily downloadable for the App Store itself.
This ultimately resulted in poor gameplay for Android smartphone users. Because by taking a different path, Epic Games skipped the tests and approval of Google, that is meant to optimize the games according to smartphone's specifications.
And one of such issues reported by the Galaxy S20 series users was the lack of high fps gameplay. Well, the Korean giant, Samsung's this year flagship, the Galaxy S20 series was missing out on the Fortnite game's 60fps gameplay and users were able to play the game at 30fps.
Basically, this was not the issue, only with the Galaxy S20 series. Samsung's older devices like Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S9, were also lacking the 60fps gameplay of Fortnite.
However, later after fixing a Samsung driver, these devices were able to support the Fortnite 60fps gaming. And it seems like the 60fps gameplay has finally arrived for the Galaxy S20 series.
As per a Reddit post, the Galaxy S20 Ultra recently has received a new update that triggers the 60fps Fortnite gameplay. Besides, as per the author of the post, the game was playing flawlessly without any frame drop.
The samsung s20 ultra has recently got an update allowing it to support 60FPS on Epic graphics and plays really well with no frame drops. what are your thoughts on this and do you think other devices should get this option aswell

But, by the looks of it, it does not seem to be true for every Galaxy S20 user, because as per one post, the user has pointed out that the phone overheats and fps goes down while playing Fornite at 60fps.
Nothing seems concrete at the moment, and we do not know how widespread the heating issue is and whether users are actually able to play the Fortnite game at 60fps on their Galaxy S20 series devices or not?
Let us know your thoughts and opinion on whether you have experienced any issues with your Galaxy S20 series phone while playing the game at 60fps.
